If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International.**JOB SUMMARY**We are hiring a General Manager for our new AC Hotel located near Michigan State University. This 156-room hotel will have approximately 5,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space, an indoor pool and fitness center. It will be home to the Toscana Restaurant and Bar. It is part of the Red Cedar Development, a mixed-use development that includes student housing, market-rate apartments, two hotels and an assisted living facility, as well as restaurants, retail space, public park space and a connection to the Lansing River Trail.**The Ideal Candidate**+ Organized, detailed oriented and able to lead a winning team of passionate and service driven hospitality professionals.+ Strong sales background and established networking skills.+ Proven ability to drive GSS.+ Effective in hiring, mentoring, and leading a team toward outstanding results.+ Able to deliver outstanding financial results.+ Full Service and F&B experience required+ Prior GM experience required.As a General Manager, you will be instrumental in hiring, motivating and rewarding a winning management team supporting our company s mission statement and embracing our cornerstones.
