Join us for an incredible opportunity to be a part of our Revenue Team as a Revenue Analyst! The Revenue Analyst will support A Seattle Collection , a multi-property cluster comprised of Grand Hyatt Seattle, Hyatt at Olive 8 and Hyatt Regency Seattle. This position is an entry level position into Revenue Management, reporting to the Area Director and Assistant Director of Revenue Management. Responsibilities include manage and oversee Revenue analytic functions to produce reporting that support and evaluate hotel business strategies to maximize overall hotel revenue, in both Rooms and Events meeting space (RevPAR and RevPAS). Provide guidance and support sales and marketing initiatives that are targeted to meet the needs of the hotel. Produce accurate revenue forecasts that help set hotel goals and outgrow the competition. Main duties for the role can cover analysis, report preparation, rate & inventory management, group coordinator, etc. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to\: Provide the analysis required to guide the hotel revenue management team to formulate transient and group inventory restrictions and pricing strategies towards the goal of increasing market share and maximizing revenues for the hotel. Assist with the implementation of the hotel sales strategy and pricing recommendations across all channels Hyatt key revenue systems and market segments. Analyze results of strategies and tactics deployed on a monthly basis. Provide all communication necessary to hotels strategy team. Provide analysis covering each of the four major OTA channels to ensure that the hotel is maximizing revenue and marketing exposure from each of our top partners. Analyze recent trends for all revenue streams and provide detailed analysis to assist the Director of Revenue the revenue forecasting process for the hotel. This includes the 18 day, Monthly and Annual forecast as needed. Collaborate with the hotel Director of Sales to provide detailed analysis on group pickup and wash trends. Coordinate and maintain scheduled reporting along with analysis for overall hotel revenue, including but not exclusive to Rooms revenue and Events meeting space revenue. Develop analysis for the business/leisure travel sales team that allows them to better evaluate new and existing accounts. Attend weekly hotel Strategy meetings in and provide any analysis required for this meeting. Assist with effectively managing and maintaining Hyatt revenue management systems including, but not limited to, Prio, Reserve, Opera, Envision, and Cognos in accordance with Hyatt Revenue Management Standards. Provide analysis for the front office team to maximize revenue from the following programs; Front Desk up-sell programs, and sell out management effectiveness. Support coordination and provide guidance for group sales leads requiring meeting space. Qualifications\: High School Diploma or equivalent required Bachelor s Degree preferred Minimum of 2 year experience, preferred in a hotel operations position preferred Intermediately skilled preferred in programs such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and related data management systems and/or business intelligence tools. Technically skilled in managing all systems related to Revenue Management preferred. These include but are not limited to Hotel Industry Revenue Management Systems, Central Reservation Systems, Property Management Systems, Sales and Catering Systems and Cognos or another form of business intelligence tool. Additional information\: Requires understanding and analysis of financial statements Ability to develop and deliver training materials Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations Ability to manage group and interpersonal conflict situations effectively Knowledge of meeting space usage along with high analytical skills
