This Forbes 5-Star, AAA 5-Diamond hotel has 170 rooms, 6,300 square feet of banquet space, and 4 food and beverage outlets. This includes 2 Jean-Georges concepted restaurants, lobby lounge, and in-room dining. In this role, you will be responsible for soliciting, securing and responding to customer inquiries from the wedding and local social market regarding the purchase of food and beverage and use of event facilities in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of catering sales experience in a luxury hotel Sales experience in the local, social and high end corporate market segments Strong event planning exposure Ability to manage all facets of wedding and high profile events Upselling techniques to maximize revenues for each event Ability to work in collaboration with sales manager, event supervisors, chef and service teams to exceed guests expectations Want to learn more?
