An exciting opportunity for a passionate Cluster Director of Revenue Management to join the South East Queensland Revenue Cluster for Marriott International. Consisting of 5 properties within the Cluster this role will be responsible for 2 Luxury Hotels in the portfolio consisting of over 500 rooms.
You will be responsible for all matters related to the hotels Revenue production and for the timely and accurate production of reporting, the efficient and profitable handling of the revenue distribution channels & ensuring that the policies and objectives of Marriott International are implemented, administered and maintained and ensures that the high standards of quality are maintained and profitability is consistently achieved.
Key Role Responsibilities
Produce a demand forecast; deploy transient/group inventory restrictions and
pricing strategies, designed to maximise revenue from a rate and occupancy perspective.
Ensure that the hotel has the optimal mix to maximise revenues, profitability
and revpar.
Ensure optimal pricing for all market segments, specifically focusing on
corporate segment.
Implement pricing as per Marriott International Divisional and Global Pricing
Policies
Ensure that pricing decisions are appropriately folded into the distribution
channel strategies of the hotel, specifically for brand websites, third parties and GDS
Advise Sales Managers on rate/inventory suitability of all potential group
business.
Oversee the management of Group Block activity. Ensure that group cut-off
dates, rooming lists, group block activity (i.e., pickup, wash) are being well managed
Manage the weekly group review meeting
Drive the weekly revenue strategy meetings
Take a leadership role in driving implementation and utilization of the tool
to the benefit of the hotel and the revenue management process
Monitor to maintain consistency with property level inventory strategies and
align with Marriotts Best Available Rate (BAR) pricing philosophy
Analyse channel performance both, Marriott Channels (brand website, GDS,
hotel direct) and third parties
Reporting on key strategic issues such as channel performance, ROI of
promotions etc and ensuring that data entry and output is “clean” in all relevant Marriott systems.
Maintain company confidentiality, ensuring that business dealings within the
organization are not discussed with outside parties.
About You
You are a strategic experienced Revenue Leader with strong analytical mindset
Can manage key stakeholders and build strong relationships
You drive results and don’t accept ordinary
Excellent Communication & Collaboration skills
A minimum of 3 years previous experience in Revenue Management
